Helpful Information
It is free on Thursdays, but opening ties are variable on that day. Sometimes they close in the morning, and other times they stay open until nine at night. It is very close to Syntagma square, and it is a good place to spend an hour or two. It is a good museum for getting a feel for Greece, and is often more interesting than most people give it credit for.
