Ensanche
El Fort Pienc is located within the Ensanche, and is named as such because it used to have a military fortification located within it. The Sagrada Familia is at Carrer de Mallorca, 401, 08013 Barcelona, and is worth a visit if you get the chance.
Just east of Carrer de Balmes, you will find the Dreta de l'Eixample district. It is a lower-middle class area with upscale streets. La Antigua Izquierda del Ensanche is one of the six districts of the Eixample district of Barcelona, which is administratively separated into two districts. You may find the University of Barcelona in this area.
La Nueva Izquierda del Ensanche is another of the six districts that make up the Eixample district, which forms the neighborhood known as the Ensanche, and it is most famous for having the modernist house “La Casa Golferichs.” Sant Antoni is also within the Ensanche, and it is most famous for the Sant Antoni marketplace that was designed in 1872 by Antoni Rovira i Trias.
